Potstickers(焼き餃子), Dumplings/Gyoza(餃子) are very popular home-made dish in Japan. Also, it is one of the most popular side dish at Ramen restaurants. It is originally from China and has been adopted to Japanese way. The basic ingredients of filling are ground meat, especially pork, cabbage or nappa, green onion, ginger and garlic. I believe that each family has its own recipe of Gyoza.

There are several ways to cook Gyoza. Pan-fried as potstickers, boiling, steaming or deep-frying. At this cooking class, I’ll show you how to make a perfect crispy potstickers.
